



Our school celebrated its centenary in 1994 and we are proud of the
school’s
history and place in the local community.

The school entrance is located in the centre of the main building.
Inside you will
find the school office where you will be greeted by friendly and
helpful staff.

Our new purpose built climate controlled classroom is organised and
equipped to support the schools principle that young children learn
best through play, and by engaging in well planned structured
activities

Our cloakroom for Early Years pupils is adjoined to the classroom
for ease of
access and use. It offers a welcoming, warm and cheerful
environment

Our Brand new, well-resourced outdoor area has been carefully
designed to maximize learning opportunities for all our Early Years
pupils in a safe and secure environment.

Our brand new purpose built Year One classroom includes; climate
control, adjoining toilet and cloakroom areas and new furniture and
fittings throughout.

Our brand new Year Two classroom includes; climate control,
adjoining toilet, advanced I.C.T. technology and new furniture and
fixture and fittings throughout

Our new outside learning environment has greatly enhanced our
curriculum. Top of the range water trays, sand trays and gardening
area has enabled all pupils to have a broad and balanced curriculum
with practical learning at its best.

This is an example of a Key Stage Two Classroom. All classrooms
include
smartboards, laptops, multimedia facilities, internets/network
connection,
DVD/video players, scanners, various digital cameras/camcorders and
much more!

Our large playground has a fantastic
variety of equipment to entertain and
educate all children. The equipment includes climbing walls,
fantasy village,
puppet theatre, sensory garden and much more!

Our school has recently received grants and awards totalling in
excess of
£15500. This has enabled our playground to be transformed into an
amazing
and stimulating environment.

Our large school field is used throughout the year for a variety of
activities. Whether it is used for lessons, clubs, lunchtime or
special events it provides the perfect location every time.

The maturing pond and carefully selected plants provide the ideal
environment
for a fantastic nature garden. Children in all classes use this
area throughout
the year for a variety of activities.

A carefully created area for children to quietly enjoy. The garden
is used by the
school community during lessons and at lunchtime, with its
picturesque
surroundings provide the perfect environment to relax and
reflect.

Our Learning Lounge provides a warm and welcoming environment for a
variety of activities. These include; Our extensive pastoral
programme, small group work, counseling service, baby massage,
adult education and much more!

Within the Learning Lounge we also have 3 Macs that are used to
support our advanced media and photography programmes.

At Old Heath Primary cooking plays an integral part of pupils
learning and their curriculum. To support this ethos we have a new
purpose built kitchen specifically for use by pupils.

Our state of the art library is entirely computerised. The thumb
print recognition
entry system enables all pupils easy and secure access to a wide
variety of
books. The library is managed by pupil librarians ensuring support
and advice
is on hand when and where it is needed.

Our bright and airy hall is used for a wide variety of purposes. In
the image above you can see our Year Three pupils having their
weekly fencing lesson.

We are proud of our extensive home cooked healthy and nutritious
menu. Our
in house catering provides outstanding food on a fortnightly menu,
at a very
