


Houses and African Shelters

Our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils have recently been studying the topic of
rainforests
under the topic of landscapes. This has included work from across
the
curriculum including many creative pieces of work.

Our Year 3 and 4 class have recently studied New York under the
topic of
landscapes. The children cooperated to produce this fantastic
collage
reproducing the sky line of New York.

For homework pupils have been creating their own rainforests,
light
houses and African Shelters. All of these have been linked to the
topic
chosen to study in class.

Our older pupils discussed emotional intelligence and as a result
of this work
they created this fantastic display.

Following a visit to a farm, Year 1 pupils were inspired to
create
wonderful poetry and art.

Our Year 2 class recently flew a selection of kites and using this
stimulus they
created a variety of work linked to this display.

The Iron Man proved a fantastic topic recently where pupils did
some super
creative writing as well as designing lighthouses with circuits
in.

Our Early Years Class have been looking at our local area. After
several trips
out and visitors to the school they created this wonderful
display.

During a creative arts week the entire school was involved in
creating this beautiful habitat.

Our Year 4 and 5 pupils created these sculptures in partnership
with the
professional artist Claire Iles. They were exhibited at First Site
Art Gallery.

Our Pre-School have experimented with paint. The pupils have used a
paint
brush in their feet to create this display

At the start of each academic year every class agrees their class
rules.
One example of this is this fantastic flower display.

During our multimedia themed week the Year Six pupils used
‘The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe’ as the stimulus for their
learning
across the curriculum.

During our multimedia themed week the Early Years pupils used
‘The Snowman’ as the stimulus for their learning across the
curriculum.

Our after school Gardening Club have created this display
about some the lovely things they enjoy doing.

During our Creative Arts Themed Week some of our pupils
used Roy Lichtenstein as inspiration for a variety of different
work
from across the curriculum.

We were recently invited to display our pupils' work in the
Colchester Library.
This display shows some wonderful work produced during our World
War Two Topic.
